West Midlands Combined Authority Adult Education Budget
The West Midlands Authority (WMCA) is establishing a suite of Adult Education Budget Service Contracts through this procurement exercise, with a total estimated value of up to £4m for the initial 15-month contract. This will be a 15-month contract with the opportunity to extend on an annual basis for a further 1 year to July 2022.
WMCA have split this call for new providers into three Lots and are seeking to attract bids from providers who can develop an adult offer to support those in-work and in low-paid jobs across a range of priority sectors aligned to our Local Industrial Strategy (LIS) at level 2, 3 and 4 valued at £2,500,000. They also want to attract bids that can equip residents with skills required through an adult offer to secure employment both directly and indirectly through Coventry City of Culture (2021) valued at £500,000 and The Commonwealth Games (2022) valued at £1,000,000.
WMCA has split this procurement activity into three Lots, with the appropriate estimated values as outlined below. Bidders can submit proposals for as many lots as they wish.

- Lot 5 – Birmingham Commonwealth Games ((estimated value up to £1m)
