The Local Government Association (LGA) are looking for a provider to deliver the National Graduate Development Programme learning and development programme.  The NGDP provides local government with a pipeline of consistently high calibre graduates.

The deadline for applications is the 2nd of April 2020.  The maximum estimated value of this contract is £1.6 million.

The contract will run Until October 2022 with a possible two-year extension.

All bids must include a recognised accreditation be that professional (e.g. ILM, CMI or NVQ, NGDP has previously used ILM Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management) or from a higher educational institute (e.g. postgraduate diploma).

The programme must be designed to deliver 150 national management trainees per cohort but with enough flex to accommodate larger numbers in staged increments up to a limit of 343 participants.

The expected timeframe for procurement is:

ITT – 2nd March

Deadline for clarification questions – 20th March

Deadline for a response – 2nd April

Evaluation of bids – 2nd April to 28th April

Interviews – 22nd and 23rd April

Notification of award decision – 29th April

Appointment of successful bidder – 11th May
