Carley Consult would like to invite you to attend a networking breakfast event open to all organisations involved in the delivery of employability, vocational skills and Further Education programmes in the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Region.

David Kirkham, Director for the Nottinghamshire City & County Employment & Skills Board (NCCESB) will be our invited guest speaker for the event, updating attendees on:

The Youth Employment Challenge in the context of the local labour market and what this means for local partnership initiative like the NCCESB led Youth Employment Strategy;

  • The principles behind employer ownership and how the NCCESB has acted as a catalyst to stimulate new approaches towards employment, skills and sector growth initiatives;
  • Overcoming the challenges of accessibility to employment and skills related services, including the roll-out of NCCESB’s new SME signposting portal, Spoke, aimed to help local employers better connect with employment and skills schemes and providers;
  • The progress of other key NCCESB initiatives, including Project 365 and Fit for Work.

The event will also provide you with an opportunity to network and engage with other employment and skills providers and colleges from the Nottinghamshire area.
