Nottingham City Council are requesting applications from qualified Training Providers who can deliver education services to apprentices. The objective is to establish a national provider list called The Directory of Approved Apprenticeship Training Providers (The DAAP).

The key aims of The DAAP are to meet employer and apprentice needs, raise training quality standards and enable best value to be achieved via co-ordinated, timely and affordable contracting.

Approved Training Providers will be offered a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further two years, at the Council’s discretion.

The DAAP will be available to public body organisations across England including Local Authorities and their maintained schools, Police services, Fire and Rescue services and NHS services. We have interest from Local Authorities across England in using the DAAP to commission their apprenticeship training.

Training Providers must be on the Education and Skills Funding Agency Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) to apply to the DAAP.

The closing date for applications is noon 21st August 2017
