Carley Consult has won a tender to deliver an evaluation study of the long term impact of employability provision in Nottingham.  The study will be delivered on behalf of Making the Connection (MTC), the City Strategy co-ordination body for worklessness provision in Greater Nottingham, sponsored by the Greater Nottingham Employment & Skills Board (GNESB).  The study will review the impact of MTC provision on the achievement of job sustainability and career progression amongst longer term unemployed customers.  The aim will be to identify those factors that most contribute to job retention, and those that create the greatest risk of a return to benefits. The study will commence in March 2009, with results and recommendations presented to the GNESB Executive Group in May.
