Our News Centre has become one of the most popular sources of information about the welfare-to-work and work based learning sectors. Subscribing to our News Centre service is free, and we e-mail you links to the latest stories as they occur. In selecting news stories, we generally write about the type of things that our own people would want to read – stories that have direct relevance to industry providers and the people who work within them. We only follow the most topical issues each week, rather than bombard you with information overkill, and we try not to tell you about things that you have probably already heard before.

We aim to keep our reporting as balanced and impartial as possible – helping you to form your own opinion on industry policy and events. We ensure that our stories are factual and, where applicable, verified by the organisations that they may relate to.
